Make a game by describing it

PromptPlay is an AI game maker: describe a game in plain words and get a real, playable browser game with art, sound and menus in about a minute. Edit it by chatting, share it with a link, play with friends online. Free to start, no coding.

How it works

  1. Describe it – Say what you want to play: the genre, the hero, the world, the mood. One sentence is enough to start.
  2. Play and tweak – Ask for changes like “jump higher”, “add a boss” or “make it night”. Every change is tested and saved as a version you can undo.
  3. Share the link – Your game gets its own page and a QR code. Friends play right in the browser – nothing to install.

A real game, not a prototype

Every prompt goes through the steps a real studio uses: game design, art and sound from a professional library, code on a 2D or 3D engine, a robot playtest that presses the controls, and a final polish. Games work with touch, keyboard, mouse and gamepad, open with a themed title screen and can be played online with up to 16 friends.

Popular genres: Platformer, Racing, Shooter, Puzzle, Tower defense, 3D adventure, Multiplayer party game, Simulator.

Questions people ask

What is PromptPlay?

PromptPlay is an AI game maker that turns a short text description into a real, playable browser game. An automated pipeline designs the game, picks art and sound, writes the code on a game engine, playtests it with a robot player and polishes it.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You describe the game in plain words and change it by chatting. The code is handled for you.

Where can my game be played?

In any browser on phone, tablet or PC – just share the link. Nothing to install.

How much does PromptPlay cost?

It is free to start: a confirmed account gets free tokens plus more every week. Paid monthly plans add more tokens, online multiplayer, private games and stronger AI models.

How do tokens work?

Tokens measure the work the AI does. A new game and each change use tokens based on how much was actually done – small tweaks use little. If a game fails the automatic test, the tokens come back.

Can I make 3D games?

Yes. PromptPlay has a 2D and a 3D engine with a library of hand-made 3D models, sprites, music and sound effects.

Can I play with friends?

Yes. Multiplayer games get a room code and an invite link; friends join from any device with a free account.

Who owns my game?

You do. Games are private, unlisted or public – your choice. Public games can be remixed only if you allow it.

Can I use any language?

Yes. Describe your game in any language. The game’s own texts follow your language unless you ask otherwise.
